However, they later understood it was far from natural and was mostly chemically engineered. When Jonah’s parents questioned him about obtaining it in the first place, he explained that while there is little known about it, it’s a legal drug that can be purchased by anyone over the age of 21.

After experiencing side effects of elevated paranoia and confusion, he says he has lost all interest in Delta 8. During 7 Little Johnstons season 11, Jonah explained to his parents that he and his friends all had the same reaction, and they thought they were being responsible for following the dosing directions on the bottle.
Despite this, it took a long time for the drug to wear off, and Jonah could only remember bits and pieces of the conversation with his dad when he called him full of panic and uncertain of what to do. The 7 Little Johnstons star described it as a traumatic experience that he never wants to go through again.
