SHOW-STOPPER BBC cancels Radio 1 star’s TV show after just two series – leaving fans gutted
Last year, Richard opened up about his time on BBC’s EastEnders and revealed why it was one of the “toughest shows to do.”

Richard told The Sun what it’s like working on a soap again after his character Vincent Hubbard got killed off in the BBC soap EastEnders.

He said: “It’s very different. But you know, EastEnders prepared me because EastEnders is one of the toughest shows to do, and I will say that being on Hollyoaks because you shoot eight to 10 to 12 scenes a day.

“So you have to literally know the lines for all your scenes. Imagine from eight till eight, you are shooting back to back scenes. Hollyoaks, it’s five scenes, so it’s a little bit easier.

“It’s not as demanding even though you do feel fatigued, but to do 12/13 scenes a day.

“Right? So EastEnders, if you can do EastEnders, you can do any show because it’s good training, and you’re up against the best.

“You’ve got great actors and actresses there that you have no choice but to be good.

“So when I when I came to Hollyoaks, it was easier for me to play the new character and get sunk into it because you have a bit more time, which is great.”

Richard is also known for his hit rap tracks such as Mama Who Da Man which reached number three in the official UK Single Charts.

In 2000, he also released 1.2.3.4 Get with the Wicked which charted at number 10.
