Sister Wives: A Fan Says Kody Brown Just Ran Through A Las Vegas Mall (Is He Okay After Garrison’s Death?)

Sister Wives star Kody Brown was reportedly seen wandering through Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas shops following the tragic death of his son Garrison Brown. He may have hit the casino too. Kody’s been lying low since his son passed away, but life goes on. It’s concerning that he was supposedly racing through the Sin City complex. Yes, he might have been getting some exercise, or rushing to buy an item. However, it’s possible that he was behaving erratically after dealing with the sort of loss that can break a person.

As per the ET clip shown above, Kody’s said some mean things about his exes and older kids – before Garrison’s death, of course. In fact, he called them,

The thing is, a lot of people think that Kody’s the jerk. Since he’s been so crass and crude while speaking out about his ex-wives, older kids and more, and he and Garrison were estranged when his son died, he may be reeling right now. Everything he’s said and done may haunt him. Grief (and maybe shame) could leave him restless and looking for ways to escape. If those feelings are acting on him, it’s understandable.

Kody and Robyn are known to hang out in malls – perhaps retail therapy’s one of their favorite ways to unwind. While gambling doesn’t seem to fit their religious beliefs, Caesar’s Palace provides that kind of escape too. As per HotNReddi at Reddit, it’s Kody in the photo shown above. He was described as “speed walking” through the mall.

Some people speed walk in malls for exercise, but it’s surprising that he would basically run through a Nevada shopping center yesterday when Kody’s already being judged so harshly online. Maybe he moved quickly to avoid being pinned down by fans who might ask him hard questions. Everyone deals with grief in their own way – some people hang their heads and cry. He’s probably been shedding a lot of tears. Some people want to get moving, so they can blot out the pain with activity. There’s no “right” way to grieve. When a person’s grieving, they will have mood swings.

Christine Brown wants to get moving – it helps her to deal with her sadness. Christine got hazed by fans for posting about her life, and not just Garrison, following his death. However, her desire to live doesn’t mean that she doesn’t love Garrison.

People are quick to judge, and Kody’s lightning-fast pace at Caesar’s Palace may have helped him to blow off steam, or just keep fans as far away from him as possible.

However, he may be in Las Vegas for another reason that relates to his ex, Janelle Brown and their son, Paedon Brown. Maybe they’re filming Sister Wives? Another fan on the same Reddit thread claimed that Janelle, Paedon and Robyn Brown are also in Sin City:

So I saw another post on Facebook of Janelle and Paedon spotted at Mandalay Bay and Robin at a Vegas grocery store. I wonder why they are all there.

Kody’s known for feuding with his own children. With so many kids, the odds of arguments really multiply. However, he seemed to have the most trouble getting along with his older sons. Perhaps Kody finds it easier to deal with women and girls? Then again, he hasn’t exactly been making peace with Christine, Janelle and Meri Brown. Also, his daughter Gwendlyn Brown accused him of overspending – maybe he was doing that at malls? A lot is said and there’s no proof, but it’s clear that Kody favoring Robyn led to intense turmoil in the Brown family.

Maybe viewers thought some of the drama was amplified just to boost the show’s entertainment value. Maybe they didn’t realize just how awful the family’s problems really were, and how severely Garrison was affected. Kody’s entangled in tons of feuds, but hopefully, Garrison’s tragic death will help him to mend fences with his other children.

Kody still has the chance to fix things with them – of course, they need to meet him halfway.

Kody has probably been looking back. He was with Janelle and others at the funeral – that must have been such a painful experience. Hopefully, the family was able to celebrate everything that was wonderful about Garrison. He had so many sweet and endearing qualities. Garrison was kind to animals – he rescued a cat named Ms. Buttons from euthanasia shortly before his death. Garrison loved his family – he just had problems that he couldn’t solve.

Garrison reportedly drank, and his addiction may have made him fragile. It’s possible that he was an alcoholic who wanted to overcome his addiction but couldn’t. Also, he was having issues with an ex which might have been hurting him. A lot is still unclear, but different forces were acting on the young man and pushing him towards suicide. Janelle tried to save her son, connecting with him after she heard about a concerning text that he sent to other people.

She talked with Garrison for a while, but he stopped responding. Then, worried sick, she had a family member check on him. They found his body. This is horrible – it’s extremely sad and if Kody needs to go mall walking or whatever else, he should be able to. A lot of parents fight with their kids and don’t have to go through this. Kody also has to deal with the whole world judging him when he’s grieving such a terrible loss. The Sister Wives star has a hard road ahead, and how he grieves is up to him.
