Sister Wives’ Janelle Brown “Brought To Tears” Over Fans’ Reactions To Garrison’s Death

Janelle Brown admitted that the overwhelming support from Sister Wives viewers after her son Garrison Brown’s passing made her tear up. The 54-year-old reality star was living her happiest life after divorcing her polygamous husband, Kody Brown. Unfortunately, her life turned upside down after Garrison reportedly died by suicide. Janelle opened up about the heartbreaking incident on Instagram in early March 2024. She posted a photo of her amazing son and wrote a few words about the indescribable tragedy. Janelle asked Sister Wives fans to respect her privacy and join her in honoring Garrison’s memory.

Janelle said, “The cats he adopted from both agencies were so important to him,” acknowledging that her son loved being a cat dad.

Janelle took some time off social media after her son’s death. However, she recently returned to Instagram to thank the fans who donated in her late child’s name. The mom of six posted a few photos of Garrison with his cats.

She wrote, “I’m being told about everyone’s donations to @highcountryhumane @arkcatsanctuary in Garrison’s name,” adding that such support brought her to tears again. Janelle thanked her fans for their generosity and admitted it meant a lot.

Janelle explained more in the comments section about the whereabouts of Garrison’s adopted cats. She replied to a fan who hoped the pets were all right, saying, “They are settling in with…Garrison’s siblings as we speak.” Janelle also replied to another fan who hoped the “babies” would stay with a trusted family. She answered, “They are! Already safe at home with some of the siblings.” The Brown family matriarch didn’t go into much detail or share where the cats were. However, she tried her best to respond to Sister Wives fans despite being in mourning because of the unforeseen tragedy.

Garrison’s passing is a painful tragedy that will forever hurt the Brown family. However, knowing that his parents and siblings are already honoring his memories is comforting. Janelle had no obligation to post on social media, and no one would blame her if she had taken a long time off to heal herself. Despite that, the Brown family matriarch has agreed to return to Instagram to thank her followers. It must’ve meant a lot to her that fans donated in her son’s name. She felt the need to acknowledge them on behalf of Garrison.

It’s bittersweet to see the massive support from fans after Garrison’s passing. The fact that people decided to donate to shelters in Garrison’s name, knowing it would mean a lot to him, is amazing. However, it’s also sad that Garrison isn’t here to see how many people respected and believed in him. The Brown family will face the impact of losing one of their own for years to come. Garrison was an irreplaceable part of his loved ones’ lives. None of the Sister Wives cast members will be the same after this tragedy.
