Sister Wives star Meri Brown may have only just shared more about her relationship with Amos Andrews, but the couple have already called it quits after just a few months together. Meri, who left her ex-husband Kody Brown in late 2022 after over 30 years together, has been working on herself since her divorce. Thirty years with Kody took a major toll on her mental health, but Meri has expressed she’s ready to try something new. She shared that she was hopeful during the most recent Sister Wives: One On One special that she’d find the love of her lifetime.
In a vulnerable Instagram post, Meri shared that she and Amos had dealt with some “difficult truths” in their relationship. “It takes courage to face difficult truths, yet it’s imperative in order to remain authentic to yourself and your commitment to personal growth. Last week, I had to face some hard truths and have some difficult conversations,” Meri posted.

“Just because I care a lot about someone, and him me, does not equate to full compatibility for a long-term relationship,” she explained in the lengthy caption, making it clear without using Amos’ name that she’d ended their relationship.

Meri continued in her caption that she still has a lot of love for Amos. She shared that she “honor[s] and care[s] about the past four months, who I spent it with, and what I learned about myself through it. I know what’s important to me in a relationship.” While Meri and her ex may no longer be in each other’s lives, she’s doing her best to look at the change as a positive. “For now, I’ll continue to look into my future with the hope of new opportunities and the confidence of continued personal growth,” Meri explained.

While Meri and Amos’ relationship was mostly private, she did give her followers a look into her life with her new partner for the short time they were together. Meri’s followers were surprised when she hard-launched Amos on her account without much fanfare, rather than keeping him a secret. While many were hopeful that her relationship with Amos would be reminiscent of Christine Brown’s relationship with her husband David Woolley, Amos had red flags right away. From multiple marriages ending in divorce to some major financial issues, it was clear Amos had a lot of baggage coming into Meri’s life.
Though Meri’s relationship with Amos may not have been the fairy tale she was looking for, the fact that she was able to end things before they got too far in is a step in the right direction for the Sister Wives star. Meri, who spent three decades in a troubled marriage with Kody, understood that her relationship with Amos wasn’t something sustainable and took the opportunity to break things off before they reached a difficult point.
