Sister Wives: Meri Looks Skinner Than Ever In Bubblegum Pink Top (She’s Trying To Move On After Garrison’s Death)

After 32 years of marriage, Kody Brown and Meri Brown of Sister Wives called it quits, and Meri has since been losing weight and looking better than ever. Meri was the first of Kody’s four wives. She chose to live in a plural marriage for religious reasons, but she and Kody, who have one child together, struggled to make their marriage work. Kody had been open about not being attracted to Meri, and the two stopped living as husband and wife many years before their divorce.

The Sister Wives season 18 star started dating a new man shortly after separating from Kody. Meri looked happier than ever and on the mend after leaving Kody. After being neglected by her ex-husband for years, Meri was hopeful that she had found her happy ending with a man who wanted to be with her. Sadly, Meri’s new relationship wasn’t what she had hoped it would be. Now, Meri is on her own and mourning the recent death of Garrison Brown. Despite being in mourning, Meri is still on her health and weight-loss journey.

Meri Brown Looks Gorgeous In Pink
“Pink Is Your Color”

Since losing weight, Meri has been feeling more confident and wearing bolder colors. In April, Meri posted a Fridays With Friends segment to Instagram, where she wore a fun, bright pink sweatshirt and body-hugging jeans. In the clip, Meri and her best friend Jen are hanging out together. Fans took to the comment section to share their thoughts. “Yes pink is your color,” wrote one fan, as another wrote, “You ladies look great!” It wasn’t the first time Meri wore the color pink since losing weight, and it’s definitely her color.

Though most of the comments were fun, some centered around Garrison’s tragic death. “My condolences regarding Garrison,” wrote one Instagram user in the comment section. On March 5, Garrison was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in his Arizona home. Garrison was the son of Kody’s second wife, Janelle Brown, but Meri watched him grow up and saw him like a son.

Is Meri Brown Eating Less Because She’s Grieving Garrison Brown’s Passing?
He Was Like A Son

Garrison’s tragic death devastated the Brown family. Hours after news of his death broke, Meri posted a family message that read, “Our family is deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy, Robert Garrison Brown. He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. This loss will leave such a big hole in our lives, and it takes our breath away.” Kody and all four of his wives posted the same message, which is the most united the family has been in years.

” Seeing it immediately moved me to tears, a testament of the love I have for him, the pain of the loss of him .”

Since Garrison’s death, Meri has dropped a few more pounds. People mourn in different ways, and Meri may be eating less than usual because she’s grieving. In April, Meri posted an old photo of herself and Garrison to her Instagram. In the caption, she talked about how she forgot she had the photo but intends to cherish it forever. “Seeing it immediately moved me to tears, a testament of the love I have for him, the pain of the loss of him,” Meri said.

” Today, March 26, marks 3 years since the passing of my beautiful mom, and 3 weeks since the passing of our sweet Garrison .”

Too Sad To Eat?

Several weeks after Garrison’s death, Meri posted another photo of herself and Garrison, alongside a photo of herself and her mother. The caption reads, in part, “Today, March 26, marks 3 years since the passing of my beautiful mom, and 3 weeks since the passing of our sweet Garrison.” Fans of the show know that Meri was very close to her mother, as she was to Garrison.

” Grief is a myriad of emotions that include despair and anger, feelings of pain, or hopelessness .”

The side-by-side photos illustrate Meri’s weight-loss journey, as she is markedly thinner now than she is in either of these photographs. In the caption, Meri also writes, “Grief is a myriad of emotions that include despair and anger, feelings of pain, or hopelessness.” Meri appears to be struggling with her grief over losing Garrison. Hopefully, if Meri needs help, she will be able to ask for it.
