Sister Wives star Robyn Brown always seemed like the lucky “princess” of the Brown family – things fell into her lap so easily, but now, everything is much harder. Before the tragic passing of Kody Brown’s son Garrison Brown on March 5, 2024, the patriarch was emotional over the breakdown of his plural marriage. Robyn had trouble soothing her moody mate. Now that something far more terrible has happened (Kody’s problems with Meri, Janelle and Christine Brown pale in comparison), he’s going through so much.

It probably won’t be easy for Robyn to comfort Kody right now.

While the consensus is that Robyn has it easy, now that this horrible tragedy is a sad fact of life, nothing’s ever going to be the same. Garrison was a wonderful person. He rescued a cat, Ms. Buttons, saving the feline from being euthanized. When reuniting with Kody and Janelle in the old days, he ran into his mother’s arms, giving her the best hugs. Garrison will be missed and no one should be blamed for his death. It’s a tragedy that was unexpected. Picking up the pieces won’t be easy for Kody or anyone else, including Robyn.

after a child died. While Robyn isn’t Garrison’s mother, which makes Kody and Robyn’s situation a bit different, the stress that this type of grief brings definitely takes a toll. For years, Kody will be suffering and probably blaming himself. It’s only natural to look inward after a trauma. That kind of “inner work” can really hurt. Garrison’s suicide isn’t Kody’s fault, but he may feel like it is, at least, for a while. That’s not going to help him to focus on Robyn and their kids.

For years, Kody’s been accused of giving all his love to Robyn and their children. In fact, Kody’s clear preference for Robyn earned Kody a villain label – in the eyes of Sister Wives viewers, he may never redeem himself. However, this awful event may change the “villain” Kody, making him much less interested in what people say.

Losing a child is brutally painful and what keyboard warriors feel isn’t as important as Kody’s healing. If he doesn’t already, he might want to take a break from reading what’s posted online.

There’s more to life than reality TV fame. Life doesn’t last forever and Kody’s a mature man. This is a time to love the people that remain, but guilt is natural in this type of situation. The often passive-aggressive Robyn may feel very guilty too. This guilt’s going to be acting on them and hurting them – it may seep out in other ways. For example, one person might pick a fight with the other just to get rid of some of the stored-up emotion that’s eating them alive.

Kody and Robyn argued before Garrison went to Heaven – what will it be like now that Garrison’s gone? It could go either way. There could be a softening – they might be gentler with each other. The other possibility is that they’ll be irritable, stressed and angry.

Some terrible things are being said about Robyn and Kody right now, on Instagram and beyond. The comments are really too mean to post here – but the bottom line is that a lot of people blame them for the family’s downfall and the pain that the Brown kids felt. So, no one should envy Robyn ever.

Recently, Janelle was crying because fans were donating to charities that were close to Garrison’s heart. His mom is grieving and grateful for the love that Sister Wives viewers are giving her. They’re respecting her wishes by honoring her son. Robyn and Kody aren’t getting the same kind of concern. Instead, they’re getting backlash – that must hurt.

Janelle took care of her kids during the COVID-19 pandemic, when Kody and Robyn sequestered themselves due to very strict virus avoidance rules. Because of that pivotal decision, Janelle resented Kody. Some of the Brown kids also felt ignored. It was a terrible time for the family, when problems that had been simmering under the surface reached a rolling boil.

Of course, if Kody and Robyn could go back in time, knowing what the future might hold, they’d do things differently. Now, it’s just too late. They need to coexist together despite some sketchy decisions that led to a terrible tragedy. This doesn’t mean that they should be blamed. It’s just a sad fact that certain Brown kids had issues with Kody and Robyn. This is what Kody and Robyn have to live with forever.

Robyn’s mostly calm. In the past, Sobbin’ Robyn’s been accused of crying crocodile tears. Now, she’s genuinely sad – it’s likely she’s heartbroken. However, she may not feel like she has the freedom to express her grief. Kody may believe he has to be careful what he says. He may think that people will turn on him no matter what he does. So, these two people are grieving without the fan support that Janelle receives. Garrison’s so sweet in the video clip shown above – he’s warm and loving. Of course, Kody and Robyn are sad too. It’s such a great loss.
