The husband of Sister Wives star Christine Brown, David Woolley, has said several controversial things about Christine’s ex Kody Brown. Christine has been a part of the series since it began in 2010. David made his first appearance in the final episode of Sister Wives season 18. David was a part of the fourth One on One special, where he opened up about his thoughts on Kody. When asked what he feels about Kody, David said, “He wears his emotions on his sleeve.” David explained to Sukanya, adding, “Sometimes you’ve got to not – but that’s him.” David suggested it would be difficult for Kody to change what he does because that’s who he is. “I can’t say differently,” David continued.

In April 2023, David shaded Christine’s ex-husband, Kody, in an epic nacho diss. The infamous nacho incident was documented in the Brown family memoir, “Becoming Sister Wives.” Kody wrote about his stomach turning over at the sight of Christine eating chili cheese nachos during their courtship. Kody had admitted that he couldn’t stand Christine eating them. The Sister Wives patriarch said Christine looked like she was starving after eating the nachos so quickly; she even had chili sauce and nacho cheese everywhere.
The sight of the “chubby girl devouring chili cheese nachos for breakfast put the brakes on our relationship,” he’d written.
